Meet one of our newest team members, Brian Bigelow! Brian has been with The Wellington since April of this year as a part-time cook. He enjoys working at The Wellington because of our wonderful residents and the welcoming atmosphere!

After starting out in a number of different kitchens around Omaha, Brian decided to go back to school for business, and eventually began his career in quality control. When asked why he made the switch to The Wellington, he told us he wanted a part-time job so that he could focus on one of his passions, converting bicycles into electric bikes! Working out of his own metal workshop in his garage, Brian does custom industrial metal work and enjoys making custom E-bikes for fun and profit.

When he’s not being a handyman in the garage, you can find Brian whipping up delicious food for our residents and staff every Monday and Tuesday. Don’t be afraid to stop in and say “hi”. Thanks for all you do, Brian!
